“There’s no one I trust more with college admissions!!!”

“I had a pleasure to have Ms. Ponsky work with two of my daughters in the college application process. As foreigners, we didn’t understand how it all worked and with her guidance and knowledge the process was smooth and a very successful for everybody”

“Applying to college was not a calm time in my life, and without Dana Ponsky, I probably would have exploded. Not only did she keep me on top of deadlines and any updates with the universities I applied to, but her honesty and dedication to my case brought me down to earth. She made me feel confident that I was doing my best to get into the school of my dreams and if I didn’t, it would be okay. In the end, I ended up exactly where I wanted to be, Emory University, and I really owe a lot of that to Dana’s willingness to read through every essay and help me through the process.”

“Dana Ponsky was indispensable to our three children’s academic success in high school and carefully stewarded the college application process for each of them. She brings a very strong skill set to this daunting task as well as other great talents: an unfailing sense of humor, inexhaustible patience, and a deep knowledge and understanding of every student. Dana made very well-reasoned recommendations about particular universities, identified possibilities our children would likely never have otherwise considered, and consoled them when the occasion merited it. She was an essential partner in our school/parent alliance and her relationship with our children has endured ever since. Every aspect of high school would have been a great deal harder but for Dana’s commitment, kindness, and professionalism.”

"Dana is spectacular at what she does. She has amazing connections which she has built throughout her many years of experience in college guidance. When I was applying to colleges she transformed a fearful time in high school into a hopeful one. Dana breaks down your options as an individual and tailors all the advice and application work to your situation. At the end of the day it is not all about what you know, but who you know, and Dana has built connections that allow her students to reach for the stars. The college you go to is the start of your career, and Dana is the boost I needed to start off strong. In my eyes it's a no brainer to use Dana, as 8 years later I see that my investment has more than paid off."

I had no idea what to expect during the college application process and I was fortunate enough to have someone recommend Dana. She exceeded my expectations on many levels. She was very kind and supportive, while being honest and direct. She helped my son navigate the creative process of exploring what he wants to study. I especially appreciated her sensitivity in adjusting to all of the personalities in my family and my son's specific needs. She is an incredibly positive person to work with and I am very impressed and appreciative for all that she has done for us.

Dana was wonderful! She is extremely knowledgeable about the college process, she knows the latest trends in this ever-changing system, and she is thoughtful in her approach. She has a very positive way with the families she helps, and I cannot recommend her more highly. She worked beautifully with my daughter...encouraging her, providing support and information, and at the same time holding her accountable for deadlines, etc. I felt confident knowing Dana was overseeing all of this, and I could sit back a little.

Working with Dana was amazing. Her optimistic, yet realistic attitude to the college process was incredibly beneficial. Her understanding of how the college application process works completely surpassed any other advisor I spoke with, including my high school’s advisor. I’ve recommended Dana to all of my friends and plan on recommending her to college applicants for years to come.

As a parent, I knew I needed guidance for the college application process. I carefully researched providers, and happily found Dana. Dana provided a balanced, kind, genuine and realistic approach for a college application process that she and my daughter managed together. My daughter and Dana researched and discussed safety, target and reach schools. I believe the strength of my daughter's application came from her personal essay, which highlighted her voice and story. Dana was the coach to draw this essay out of my daughter and she made it clear that the application process was a "long game", which it was. Dana made the process manageable and provided a neutral viewpoint of the business of college applications. She is a wonderful resource and I highly recommend her.

Dana has been so helpful managing the college application process with my 16 years old daughter! From a list of college options, keeping her on track with all the assignments and documents, to submitting the applications, it was much easier to have an external process managed by a pro like Dana. She listened to my child and supported her during every step in the process. I highly recommend her and will certainly work with her again for my daughter's younger siblings!
